Counting sheep. Catching some zzz’s. Getting some shut eye. Going off to dream land. There are some many different ways to refer to sleep, but no matter what you call it, sleep is necessary for life. It’s not a perk or right or privilege but 1000% required to not only function but to thrive. Yet, so many people struggle with falling asleep or staying asleep. Throw in a baby who needs to be taught how to sleep, and you might find yourself in a sleep-deprived hot mess.
But fear not. Quality sleep is not just a dream (pun intended). There are many things you can to help create a better sleep environment for yourself without resorting to a sleeping pill or other medication. Essentials oils can be quite useful in promoting feelings of relaxation and calm. In fact, ancient Romans used essential oils for many purposes, including as a sleep aid.

3. Apply essential oils topically
4. Use a diffuser or make a linen spray
5. Use amber lights

As always, speak with your doctor if you have any concerns about your specific health conditions and oil usage.
Whether you diffuse these oils or create a linen spray or apply them to your feet, exploring the world of essential oils can bring some of the deepest, most restful sleep to your bedroom. Happy snoozing!
